What our lovely visitors and wedding couple’s had to say about their experience at Bosduifklip:

A hidden gem…

Wilma Goosen: “Bosduifklip is the first and only venue we ever viewed before we had set our date (18th April 2015) …The most magical and beautifully rustic place with open skies not even to mention the great atmosphere, wonderful hosts and awesome food. From the first time we set foot at Bosduifklip it just felt right – so homely and relaxed – just what we wanted for our special day!! A place where everyone could enjoy themselves and celebrate the day with us. Our hosts Aletta & Kobus went out of their way to assist us up until the last day. Even though we live over 200km away our day was perfect as the hosts were always prepared to assist us with everything even if it was just advice or a good chat. All the feedback from our guests has been overwhelming and positive – so many of them wanted to know how we got hold of such a gem of a place and most of all they still cannot stop raving about all the delicious food. After our special experience at Bosduifklip I can seriously recommend it to anyone that is looking for a wedding venue or some yummy food. It is surely one of a kind. Thank you Aletta & Kobus!!”

What a day what a reception!

Sumari:“From day one, we had SUCH a positive experience at Bosduifklip planning the reception for our wedding on 25/04/2015! Both me and my now-husband lived a great distance from Lamberts Bay, but with the exceptional help of our hosts at Bosduifklip this proved to be no problem at all. We first saw the venue on the internet and decided to visit and have a look. We were impressed with what we found and decided then and there that Bosduifklip was the venue for our dream day! With its rustic atmosphere this is exactly what we were looking for! I HAVE to mention the food as the feedback we had from guests were overwhelming! Extremely ‘lekker’! The food was well prepared and tasted amazing! I can sincerely recommend Bosduifklip for anybody planning their wedding and considering a West Coast wedding.”

Beautiful rustic venue…

Maria: “We where privileged to be invite to a wedding this weekend which was hosted at Bosduifklip wedding venue in Lamberts Baai. This venue is a very rustic but magical venue that came alive at light with cleverly placed lighting. The food spread was so delicious and generous. The homemade biltong spread should be sold in jars! So So good! The host’s including the big ginger cat Kiri where so friendly and accommodating added to the homely magical cozy cave atmosphere.”

The best day of our lives – HANDS DOWN

Natassja: “Alex and I planned our entire wedding from London without having ever been to Lamberts bay or Bosduifklip. We fell in love with it on the internet and just took a leap of faith and WOW it paid off.
Aletta was so helpful and friendly from the very beginning with recommendations for all suppliers, accommodation etc which was so helpful particularly being so far away.
We used the fantastic Irene Celliers (Farvalina Flowers/Wedding Planner) on Aletta’s recommendation and between the 2 of them they put together the day of our dreams.
The perfect beach ceremony followed by the most perfect reception at Bosduifklip.
From the welcome drinks served in a wheelbarrow to the most tasty welcome snacks. Followed by the most delicious food I have EVER had at a wedding (the lamb spit and pumpkin pie were the stars of the show as was Kobus with his real passion and pride for Bosduifklip and his food).
The setting could not have been more glorious, watching the sun setting in the distance from our tables and then dancing under the stars all night.
Aletta and Kobus- you have a real gem in Bosduifklip and the 2 of you are too fantastic for words.
I could not recommend Bosduifklip more- it is truly special.”

A rustic and tranquil experience…

George Anderson: “Visiting this beautiful place with a friend for dinner. Sitting next to nature and listening to the night life while eating delicious food was an experience to behold. Enjoyed some curried tripe, “waterblommetjie”-stew, paella, lamb on the spit. Dessert was “souskloutjies” and coffee.
There just wasn’t any room for more of the other dishes, and no lack of the choice of dishes.
Will visit this place again!”
